    Help! Ideas Needed!

I'm sick of the same old heading out west, so plan on heading east for a bike trip in the next couple of months. It will be 7-10 days, probably 400 miles a day, (my buddy is on a Harley), and I'm looking for ideas from folks that live in the Southeast. Have to do: Dragon (he's not going if we...

    COTA Roll Call-anyone going!

I drive a courtesy cart for the Med Center every year; MotoGP is my favorite event of the racing season at COTA.

Selling my '07 Black Cherry FJR, really low miles

Nice price and bike. That price is why I decided to keep my '07A when I picked up my new Honda F6B this spring. I might be able to get a little bit more than you, with 28K miles, but also with a few more farkles, but it's worth more than that to me to have in the garage.

OK, it's time to say "Goodbye".

Sorry to read this, Jeff. The right can on my '07 sends it's regards, as it came from you!

Been a while since some Cruiser Bashing...Well I got a new bike.

Sold my VTX to buy the FJR. Nothing wrong with 'em, I'm just not a VTwin guy anymore. Missed having a Honda in the garage, so fixed that on Saturday.

What did you do to your FJR today?

    Oh, it is! So comfy!

What did you do to your FJR today?

Thank you, sir. It's a Deluxe, so has the self canceling turn signals, heated grips, centerstand, and passenger backrest.

What did you do to your FJR today?

Bought it a garage mate, a 2016 Honda F6B Deluxe....

    A new Valkyrie

Yep, it's all I've been looking at. CC and CS are only on the deluxe. I did look at Sportcycles, but found one closer to the house that I don't have to ship; a 2016 white Deluxe.

    A new Valkyrie

Replying to my own post from a little over 3 years ago, I'm closing in on the purchase of a new F6B, probably 2016, but maybe 2015. And guess what, they now have CC! It will share the extra garage with my Feejer, for when I want the comfort of a Wing!

    Victory Is No More

You're exactly right, Gary. Everyone can spin the Victory all they want, but bottom line, that turd isn't selling. From last month's 4Q and 2016 Annual Report, with highlighting for the financially impaired: *** Motorcycle segment sales, including its PG&A related sales, decreased 35 percent in...

    2007 FJR for $6499?

The OP bought his bike in August last year.

    Victory Is No More

Their transmissions are probably the thing that improved the most over the years. And I'm saying that because they had a long way to go; the CHUNK of the gears on the old ones was crazy.

    Victory Is No More

A couple of pics: The first Vision I rode, July 28, 2008. Tell me the front end of those would not scare the bejeebus out of a kid that didn't like clowns! A couple of bikes I rode in June of last year. The black one is a Victory Cross Country, the red one an Indian Chieftain. No doubt about...

    Victory Is No More

The Victory dealer here in Austin is this weird place called Napalm. I went in there a few times, but remember that they had put some floor sealant down in the showroom that put off some nasty fumes, even a year later. The Indian dealer is at a resale shop called Dream Machines, that mainly...

    Victory Is No More

Sorry, you did say you only saw them at the dealership; I thought that meant you hadn't ridden an Indian. So how was that CanAm dealer? Good to work with? Ha!
  17. jmdaniel

    Victory Is No More

Ha! The number of reasons Indian failed in the first place aren't related to their current situation; the brand is now owned by a company with the deep pockets and expertise to do something with it. And you should probably ride one before you slam them, you might be pleasantly surprised. I know...

    Victory Is No More

I read this morning that Toyota is saying the Camry is the most American car. I know Honda used to be able to say the Gold Wing was the most American motorcycle, when it was made in Marysville, Ohio.

    Victory Is No More

Funny that people consider the Victory an American made bike. Designed and assembled here, sure, but a TON of the parts are sourced overseas. Bingo. I rode a Cross Country and a Chieftain last summer in Minnesota, and couldn't believe how nimble and actually small the Chieftain felt, after...
