    Victory Is No More

That is why they are called "opinions". I've ridden them since Year One, and that covers more than 4 models. They would definitely be in my Top 5, if I was looking for something to pull a plow with. YMOV.

    Victory Is No More

Polaris is announcing today that they are shutting down Victory. No tears from me; while the quality of build and ride has increased significantly since the first year, I have always thought them to be cumbersome turds. When you have Indian, you don't need Victory.

What did you do to your FJR today?

That's what I'll do to put the new piece in, good idea.

What did you do to your FJR today?

Maybe, but I'm kinda OCD, and with that holder piece broken, I can't get the knob reattached. $5 for the part, $8.50 for shipping, a bit of cursing because my hands are bigger than a 10 year old girl's, and I'll be back to normal.

What did you do to your FJR today?

After a zero speed get off in the driveway, (sidestands are not overrated, but have to be all the way in place), replaced left side mirror and reassembled left side bag, after getting lid back from Garauld. Great service, by the way. While buttoning back the dash panels, tightened nut on...

I've only known them by Aerostitch, but I agree on the catalog.

Medium Motofizz bag for my seat bag. Not waterproof, but comes with a rain cover.

    Smokers (BBQ - not grilling)

    Smokers (BBQ - not grilling)

Smart man. Using that kind of logic would lead someone to believe that the TSA are a godsend to air travel.

    Smokers (BBQ - not grilling)

And understand that my post is not a *** at your ***. As far as the rating on Amazon, I'd disqualify any from reviewers that don't actually live in Texas. Aaron Franklin's book is pretty good. I'd never stand in line three hours to eat his barbecue, but I like his book.

2006 FJR ABS. FS ad removed

No, not blind. There is no mention of price in this thread. That seems pretty odd, considering it's an item for sale. As far as location, Blaine is a suburb north of Minneapolis, and Tousley Motorsports is also in the Twin Cities, so I'm going with Minnesota. My sleuthing work here is done...

    Smokers (BBQ - not grilling)

I reheat ribs by wrapping in foil, dropping in an ice cube or two, and putting them in the toaster oven; 400 degrees for 20 minutes or so.

You only go around once, Fred. Ever see a luggage rack on a hearse? :)

    Smokers (BBQ - not grilling)

I like mine. The one thing I want to try with it is running the water pan empty on a brisket. Some of the BBQ places here in Central Texas, (Cooper's in Llano, for example), cook brisket at higher temps than normal, and for shorter periods. If I could do that, and of course, with semi...
