    Looking for Advice

I bought an FZ6 for my son. We just completed the MSF course and have done some more training on our own. He is not a big boy (5'8' 145lbs), and does real well on the bike. Its a fairly tame bike in the low revs so its hard to get into alot of trouble on initial take off, but when the revs get...

    Who's comfortable loaning bikes?

I have no problem loaning out anything I have. Especially something of a material nature. I've loaned cars, trailers, bikes, even my house. I'm more than glad to help someone out, especially if they are in need. The FJR is a little different because of the danger invovled. That said if they are a...

    Nitrous

And I thought I had the need for speed. The FJR's top end is north of 150mph. How fast do you want to go? Where are you going be when you hit the nitrous button? West Texas? LOL. I would love to see it when it lights off. Glenn

    half face helmet ran over

Mad Mike, I have 2, 450 helmets just hanging in the garage as we speak. I like to keep reminders around. It keeps me on my toes as I leave the garage on my bike. Glenn

PDP removal creates influx of new riders?

The reason it worked well for Yamaha is because they new exactly how many to build each year. The PDP would start sometime around the last week of January. They would close the PDP 3 months later, and the bikes would start arriving the 2nd or third week of July. I'm assuming this kept the cost...

    Double take

I wonder how much the brackets are? If you had an FJR you wouldn't need the bags. That would be handy.

    Ready to buy today

I had an 03 that was hot, I did some of the mods and it made it less hot. The st1300 was comparable to the FJR in heat. I now have an 07 that is alot better, as a matter of fact I don't notice the heat at all.
