I've put 23,000 miles on my Super-T over the last year and gotten back on a couple of FJRs during ride trades. What floors me are the number of folks who trash the Super-T or any other bike when they haven't set it up for themselves. I had one person over the weekend tell me how the rubber in...
THANKS to all of you who threw the event. It was GREAT and we look forward to seeing folks more in the future.
Anybody got a caption for this?
What was it that Fred W just learned about?
Not mine, but another reason for a Super Tenere:
Seriously, the same concept applies. Just get creative and have a way to tie items on top of your cases. Maybe without the poles put the tent into one of the boxes, then the set of poles could strap into any of a number of places, such as...
Thanks for getting it going Kitty. Here is the cross posting that is now on the Super Tenere forum: https://www.yamahasupertenere.com/index.php?topic=5350.new#new

The magazine release is odd, so it would not intuitive after years of using the typical button release.
I'll go with Iggy's slider pin thought and add that the uneven wear phenomenon is not just in disc brakes used on motorcycles.
The applied force would be in proportion to hydraulic pressure for the inside pucks.
The outside would get the same hydraulic pressure, but the total mechanical system...
While Ion is right as usual, the State laws generally don't cite the technology being used.
You could use a paint gun or mud balls to defeat a laser device too. Might piss off the officer holding the thing tho.

That's why the regs generally just prohibit interference with traffic and...
You'll find the front pads wear unevenly and some will be quite worn while at least one appears near new. I do replace them all at once typically, but in a pinch to go on a long ride when I couldn't get replacements fast enough, I've swapped them so the thick one swapped with the thinnest, etc.
Made the mistake at Oshkosh of visiting the Honda tent and sitting with Karen on one.
Smart girl likes the Super Tenere and says it's a keeper, but the hand writing is on the wall for rentals and down the road....

Euro zone countries generally don't need the international license, but much of Asia and the old East Bloc countries do.
btw - For those who typically buy most everything with plastic, including breakfasts, lunches, Starbucks, McDonald's, etc:
Be aware that EVERY individual charge WILL come...
The other thing that will hang up the rear brake on the FJR is over tightening the drag link bolt. Offering this if you recently changed the rear tire.
+1 to the camera. I've seen it used successfully more than once. Also to a motion light.
But to the original question, can't you just prevent another tip over? Park extremely close to the wall and pull the car up so the bike can't be tipped?
The best part about MedJet is that it's no questions asked. like, even if a gypsy hooker somehow was in the story, MedJet won't care.
Ummm - just saying' mind you....
For those who can get it .....
:P
Seriously, like Marty wrote after his El Paso spill, it makes sense if you ride pretty...
