Yeah. I'm usually in a hurry to get out of the situation but photographing the LEO seems to be common among the motorcycle-riding, forum-posting crowd. I have yet to do it but wonder what the line is to get the LEO to pose. Also, I wonder what is the percentage of LEO's that decline? Makes...

Mine is attached with basic velcro to the top of the brake reservoir. The windshield blocks the wind so much that I've never had a problem with it coming loose.

Just a marketing decision in an effort to solidify and improve the brand image. Companies do that everyday. But I wonder if selling Buell's at H-D dealers is yet another culprit at compromising the brand image since it seems the buyers that they want to attract probably don't flock to H-D...

I was there 9 days ago ... about 10am on a saturday ... and the only LEOs I saw were a handful parked and hanging around The Tail of The Dragon. Not too many bikes riding the twisties at that time. About an hour later, riding east to west on the Cherohala, I saw one LEO driving in the opposite...

If you have a loan, it seems to me that continuing regular payments is your responsibility until the insurance claim is finalized. It stinks to pay on a bike you don't have but why should the lender suffer for something they had nothing to do with? Then again, I have no experience with this...

Poetic. Ride report gold! So true. It must be one of those 'magic rules' of motorcycling. Sort of like riding in the rain until you can no longer take it, donning the rain gear, then resuming your ride only to find the rain ceases 2 minutes later. :glare: What a report! Truly epic...

What size duffle bag? I use a 20" (that I picked up cheap at some big-box mass retailer) and it fits great.
