    Wanted Garmin GPS

CycoActive sells a wireless helmet headset and it's compatible with the Garmin Zumo 550. It's called a Scala Rider Bluetooth headset #065-0340 for $149.95. I was told it will allow you to receive GPS routing commands, MP3's and bluetooth cell phone communication. Not clear if it works with...

    Wanted Garmin GPS

I'm finding out slowly that to receive and communicate (clearly) by cellphone w/bluetooth, listen to MP3 and hear GPS voice commands is not as simple as it's advertised. The Zumo 450 may be the best choice for me at this point. No more subscriptions for me just for radio and traffic. The...

Eleven Bikes ride Big Bear and ROTW

Rayban, I absolutely don't blame you. You were designated/volunteered for photos and that's hard enough to do on the fly.......... along with navigating. The faster group should have waited at the intersection of Lake Gregory Dr. and Hwy 18. And, that should have been me...

Big Bear and Rim of the World

Thanks to Barry for his computer skills or this image would not have ever happened........... As an option....... it is possible to extend this ride to the Cajon Junction on Hwy 15 making it even more twisty adventure. The Cedar Glen Malt Shop in Lake Arrowhead is another diversion to good...

Big Bear and Rim of the World

I'm sure (if Barry wanted to), he could attach a few more twisty kinda miles and we could return Hwy 18 via Lake Gregory, Crestline and Lake Silverwood to Cajon junction on the 15. just to burn off that Carnitas platter or menudo. WW's FJR

The Road to Creston, Part Deux

JB, The NO AD brand is an inexpensive (large quantity) sunblock lotion that WalMart sells. It's great for the body but keep it off your head and face. When in the water or sweating it will bleed into your eyes. It's supposed to be waterproof ?? WW'sFJR
