Still a good deal though IMO. I have used the hell out of mine from New England throughout the Western States.

    Harley + Ducati ?

I used to work for a Guy who is really good at running a Motorcycle Dealership. He always worked in Stores selling Japanese products and K.T.M. He got an amazing offer to manage a Harley Dealership and took it. He said to me that he always thought Honda was the king of the motorcycle sales...

brodie's harness or similar ground spider fix for my '06

I don't think anyone on here makes those harnesses anymore. Brodie & Roadrunner used to be the Guys who built them.

    Carbon Monoxide and Harleys

One of my friends has a loud *** Heritage Classic that I stay in front of. He is a good Dirt Rider and can ride the Hell out of that sled but in tight curves he gets pretty far back. Falling back frustrates him but he likes the image & the bling!! The Harley loyalty runs deep in these Guys!

Getting ready to sell my FJR

Chris, My 2007 went for $5200.00. My bike had 22000 miles on it and was in excellent condition. We have a good market for Motorcycles here in Colorado. I bought a Super Tenere' and it's the Bike to have for stiff knees!! Love it.

    Too Much Personal Information

Thanks for the info. Mine only went back to 1982 so not too bad. I removed my wife & I from it. This is likely one of the reasons I get phone calls almost daily from A- Holes all over the Country! I block every one of them but it's annoying as Hell.

I'm sick of Facebook. I'm deleting my account!

I've never used FB either. I thought that it was a good communication tool at first but now so many people throw their whole lives on there and some never use any other means of contact that it's gotten crazy IMHO. But I suppose FB fills the needs of a lot of people.

Speed, gear, RPM, and Odometer measurements on an 06

He used to post here years ago. I believe he was an Engineer and posted some good information on the FJR. He moved on to a Connie 1400 if I remember correctly.

    Dealer Profit on New Bikes

When I used to sell Motorcycles here in Colorado the "DOC" fees were registered with DMV and they were the same for everyone. The freight & set up fees varied on European versus Japanese Bikes. Some of the crazy Dirt Bike price wars on Saturdays were so cutthroat that about the only profit a...

Garage Furnace: Radiant heat or Blower Furnace?

My friend had a radiant style heater and it always had a smell to it. I have a Janitrol forced air type and it's perfect. Mine is a 75,000 BTU and it heats my 20 x 40 garage in about 15 minutes. I would recommend it.

Coming back to the Yamaha family

Hey Squirrel, I just bought a 60th anniversary Yellow one. My old knees were starting to feel cramped on the FJR. I love this thing and it does everything very well. The "F "was faster no doubt but this Bike runs really well up here in the altitude and it will lean as far as you have the Balls...

    Orange is the new.... bike?

My buddy just bought that same bike last week. He likes it a lot. I bought a Tenere' for my stiff Assed old knees! The Ten has more power than I thought and very comfortable for me. I think the Kawi will be a great performer and the old Ninja engine is a timepiece.

    Question about Radiator Coolant

A lot of Motorcycle water pumps do not like anti freeze with silicates and phosphates and the pumps would leak after awhile so I make sure to get the anti freeze without it. Sometimes it takes some looking around to find it. I've never seen the Asian formula but that sounds like a good way to go.

    R1200RT - Thoughts?

I saw a tool on the GS Forums a couple years back called a GS 911 if I remember correctly that could read and clear, reset codes in the BMW computers. I think it was a couple hundred dollars or so. There is a fellow, Jim Von Baden, that makes all the videos and can let you know what's out there...

    Centennial, CO, Performance Cycle

That's about the most beautiful Motorcycle accessory store I've ever seen. I've been a customer for many years and they really out did themselves on this store.

    Best Place To Retire Early

Bounce, My wife is from the Southeast Washington, Pullman, and it's a totally different place than the Coastal side of Washington. Mostly an agricultural area and much more conservative even though there is WSU supporting the town with jobs. We go there to see family once or twice a year and...
