Yep, us 62+ aged folks get a 800% increase in the Life-time Nat'l Park pass effective August 28 unless you already have one.

So you have about 5 weeks from now to own your $10 Life-time Nat'l Park pass if you don't have one by now.

This is just another way of sticking it to the baby-boomers so plan accordingly.

If you already have one and your significant other does not, they would be advised to get one of their own because you may not be in the picture forever.

Let's see, that means I'll have to save $4.70 per year for the next 20 years, to be able to afford one when I'm oldenough to qualify for one. Not sure I'll stress about that right now. Lol...

This is not meant for the kids who have to carry the load now for the boomers but for the procrastinators who sit on the fence and let a chance go by.

You know who you are.

Still a good deal though IMO. I have used the hell out of mine from New England throughout the Western States.

I will miss out on this deal by a few months as my 62nd birthday is in November 2017. Oh well the extra few bucks will not break the bank. Thanks for posting. Soon I will be living in the Day of the Eagle!

I never knew they were ever free. I picked up mine 6 years ago for $10 and thought that was one hell of a great deal and now they will at $80 next month.

I hate to think what they will cost for the next price hike and when it happens.

I feel for the generation following us and the ones after. Maybe we could (unofficially) refer to them as the bend-over generation.

My bride just got more expensive.:) :) :) :) She gets her pass in October. They should make them free for vets.
