    Wot, no sliders?

Sorry to hear about that. Glad you're not too badly bruised, and frankly from the looks of that intersection things could have been much much worse as THE CARS ARE ALL DRIVING ON THE WRONG SIDE! Any chance you can find some replacement parts from bikes being cannibalized on e-bay? Hope you're...

Hot meal and an air compress'r...

Just payin' it forward, guys, just payin' it forward. One of you may see me someday, parked roadside for a breakdown, and we all earn karma points. Besides, having unwashed bikers rumble thru my little neighborhood will scare and humble the neighbors... C

    wtf is farkled????

Sit back and listen up my friend, and break out the checkbook or plastic.. farkle is no laughing matter. It could save your life, cut your time, keep your record clean, hold a week's worth of skivvies, spot a deer, prevent monkeybutt, prevent head bobble, stop wrist cramps, extend your mileage...

    federal job tips?

Recommend you try Raytheon. they just bought our company lock stock n barrel and have over 80,000 employees (seriously) and the jobs run the full spectrum. Are you willing to move? that might be a requirement. Benefits are outstanding and the $ ain't bad. Good luck. BTW... what kind of jobs are...

It's a "tired thread", but I dunno any better

(ummm.. I was just kidding) I actually did find some useful and well explained info on just that subject. I am now not sure, because of very conflicting testimonials and personal choices given, whether it's "safe" to ride with this problem or not. As a cheap SOB some things I can do using second...

It's a "tired thread", but I dunno any better

I did google "cupping" but got several VERY inappropriate NWS sites... an hour later I re-googled and found some tire stuff... C

It's a "tired thread", but I dunno any better

I know this is somewhere around here but I couldn't find it specifically. I have a generous amount of tread left on my Metzlers (orig equip) but the sumbitches are "cupping". I only have 6500 miles. Why would they do that? I keep inflation appropriate, never exceed 132mph, wife and I aren't...

    CBR600RR. Hanzo's first ride report.

Very NICE!!! Just wondering... is that red bike in the background (top picture) the one you traded in? Ride fast and safe!

Test Rode the 08 FJR.......loved it!

Just buy an 07, then you get the best bike made, AND don't have to spend the extra money getting it repainted to an actual "color". The only farkles I have on my 07 are sliders, a backrest for my navigator, a tank bag and a big Kuryakun Grandtour bag for trips. I will be getting heated grips in...

Tire hit some frost heaves & later went flat

I'm assuming, Pierre, we won't be seeing a "spectacular deal" on a lightly used tire and rim combo on the vendor list! haha Man, that would immediately put a pause in my sense of "riding safely". Hope it turns out to be an easily detectable fix. And low on the $$ threshold. C

    Need printing help

Mac is best for any type of graphics or color art... When you go to print from photoshop hit command P (or print from the pull down menu...now, we're not talking print with preview, just the print selection) and make sure the line that says printer: has the correct printer name displayed...

Hot meal and an air compress'r...

Hey, since the wife and I won't be making the trip out to Colorado I thought I might open the invite to anyone passing thru Salt Lake city (to or from the event) for a hot meal or the use of some basic tools (I own a saws-all and a pair of pliers, works on everything). We can bandage up your...

Size of Allen Wrench to remove bolts for frame slider

10mm... and not to open a can of worms that rarely shuts, but how many pounds do ya plan on torquing the slider bolts to? Mine are at 29#, about average for what the last discussion covered. If I'm not mistaken the debate continues... but seems someone had to order a custom seat that had a 30...

    FJR US - EU

Ha ha, let it go Zoltar! Lemon Pledge is a furniture polish that old ladies use to wipe down the tops of their fine wooden dining tables, and delicate handcrafted wooden furniture that no one is allowed to use (they usually have plastic covers on their seat cushions, too)... Smells good though...
