do planking exercises to strengthen your core and wear a Camelbak to keep hydrated as not drinking enough will cause fatigue sooner..
I never ride more than 50 miles without my Camelbak..
I have a 2002 Honda CBR 954RR in the garage next to the FJR for when I feel the need to satisfy my hooligan urges.
But dang, I can only be scrunched up on it for about 150 miles before cramps set in.
My FJR has been and still is a great machine after all 112,000 miles.

Enough already with all this speeding on public roads...I would never do that.<img src='https://www.fjrforum.com/forum//public/style_emoticons/default/no.gif'

First time I did my '05 FJR I used a hacksaw blade and just cut the head off the two offending bolts after loosening them up. Put them in the other way when I reassembled and now no problems when do the job again. Nothing special about those bolts so any good bolt of the same length will work.
I can hear it now from buyers of the 2016 - this bike would be perfect IF ONLY I didn't have to downshift from 6th to make a quick pass at 70 mph.
YMMV.
just did this service on my '05 last weekend and of all the bearings/joints on the rear suspension, the middle one on the relay arm discussed above was most in need of new lubrication.
Hey Dave, looks like I am going buy the blockoff plates from another inmate who bought then never installed.
Would u be able to send the install instructions to my email llz?
I'd sure appreciate it.
Thanks

Interesting but still too expensive considering how much riding I don't do at night. Until that price comes waaaaay down it will be Osram Nightbreakers in the FJR.
