we rode it on the way out from Maggie Valley on Sunday morning. Nice cool weather with low hanging clouds made for some great scenery.
thanks for posting.
looks like I won't make it for Thursday evening but will be able to make it to ******* on Friday evening.
Anyone looking to share a room in ******* on Friday night only? Anyone? Buehler??
looks like a cold front is coming in late Friday evening dropping overnight temps into the 40s and daytime high on Sat of 64 and Sun of 62.
Should be good riding weather if you have the cool weather clothes.
A couple of lunch suggestions for Friday and Saturday - Ozark Cafe in Jasper and just west of there on HW 74 between Jasper and Ponca is the Low Gap Cafe in Low Gap.
Both have good food and are popular.
I have the Cortech Sport Tailbag and also this Keryakyn Daily Tour bag.

looks like you have made good progress.
Having that replacement engine sitting in the garage next to the bike just waiting for transplant will give you more incentive to dive in and git 'er done!
life is a ***** - then you find more and more good roads to ride. While in Maggie Valley I talked with a group of cruiser riders who had come to the area and had a friend who was a local take them on the GOOD LOCAL roads and not just the well known ones.
THAT, is where the really good riding...
any aftermarket suspension you put on the bike will feel a LOT better than even a new stock suspension.
I have Wilburs springs up front and shock on the rear and it made the '05 a much better bike. I due for a periodic rebuild of the rear shock now.
