Too Late to change my mind

Blue said it right: Farkle up and ride! Grats on the new ride!

    Throttlemeister

I haven't tried to use the TM while wearing my heavy gloves, but with either of my lighter pairs, it's not a problem to hold the throttle with my thumb and index finger, and then use the rest of my hand to turn the TM. I dunno, maybe it just takes some practice? Also, as others are saying, I...

    Ya'll have inspired me again

That's great! I'm looking forward to getting some time like this in: my daughter's 12 right now.

    Penguin's New Toy

I had to go dig up your topic from when you got the truck. You finally got a farkle for it! :) Grats! I think I'm gettin' close to selling mine, want to replace the truck camper/truck combo with a class-C toy hauler. Basically, the non-trailer version of what you got. I'm thinking bunk...

Throwing a big Thanks to a couple of forum members....

Yet another reason I hang out here! Sorry to hear about your oops (you need to update your sig line with the 'is it an accident if'), but glad you're getting it taken care of quickly! Now RIDE!

    Aaahhhh .....

Are you sure it's wise to ride it yet? Shouldn't you let it sober up? An unheated bar is lonely place.

    Bonding the hard way...

Great write-up! Grats on being brave enough to "pass the torch." Now, can you please get the little sister to add HER version of what happened! Although that should probably wait for Friday :)

    Pulls in during right turns

Don't know about a PR2 GB, but I have about 3k on my PR2's (front and back) and I'm loving them! I had BT021 from the factory, and I really like these a lot better. I guess I'm just saying "I think you're making a good choice, going to PR2's" Mike

    Wambulance Fridge Magnet

One of my kids was whining about something this morning (no idea what, whining also means being ignored), and I told him to be careful or I'd have to call the Wambulance to take him away. Well, it occurs to me, that FJRGuy recently did this brilliant key fob thing... Love The FJR...and so...

    WynPro ( BIG-FOOT)

I bet the one on the right is the one with the design defect, that is causing so many bikes to fall over when placed on the stand. I think they removed it before the 2008 build runs, because mine doesn't have one there.

Excellent Deal on Clearwater LED Lights

Thanks for the info! And, I'm not as worried about someone pushing it over, as the defective design on the side-stand. I keep reading about it retracting automatically as people are walking away from the bikes. Hard to believe that could happen any day other than Friday.

Excellent Deal on Clearwater LED Lights

Interesting...as you say, yours are mounted at the fender mount point, rather than the brake caliper mount point, as mine are. Did you choose this, or is that what they do on the '09s? It was never mentioned when Skip installed mine, but I would have chosen the current location (caliper)...

    How does your FJR steer?

I had been having what sounds like the same problem...every time I leaned into a turn, at any speed, the bike wanted to turn sharper. Yes, power could overcome it, but there was no way to achieve any kind of equilibrium like I had gotten used to. Next oil change, the dealer didn't want to let...

    WynPro ( BIG-FOOT)

So...I've had mine a while now, but don't want to rush the installation. It's supposed to take 6 weeks, right? Oh, oops, it's not Friday yet.

What is that out there? A beautiful day.

You mean, in the little room sometimes known as The Library? What color is your throne?

I just changed my oil.... and......

I'm not as much of a gear-head as some of the people that have chimed in here, but I agree with what FJRBluesman and BikerGeek99 said: you got the chunk out, so go ride. If it were my bike, I would change the oil again, as soon as convenient, just for the flush idea that maddad suggested. The...
