I feel for you. You did not say, but I assume that dealer is going to pay to repair it to like new condition. I can tell you, it is not a matter of IF the bike will get dropped, it is a matter of WHEN. At least this way, it should get fixed free.

I'm hoping that you mean 500 RPM. My idle is lower too, went from around 1100 to 800. Bike runs great, so I'll just adjust the idle up a bit and all will be well.

+1 on that. Also, what about bugs? seems it would get covered with them at times.

I'll just add that I bought a set of tires from Freedom Motorsports last year and they were great to deal with. They gave me and 3 other FJR riders a ride to the nearby diner where we had a good breakfast and then when we were finished eating they came back and picked us up. Great service...

Givi makes a bag for the V46. I've got one and it fits perfectly.

I've had Dish for years. It works well and I am happy with it. I had Direct before I got Dish, they are both good. Go with the best deal, you'll be happy.

The trick is to get some good ear buds/custom molded ear plugs. I have a sat radio and an Ipod and now a Zumo 550 with a built in MP3 player, I added an Ampli-Rider amp under the seat that lets me have 3 audio inputs and adds a remote volume control that I put on my handlebars. My molded ear...

Well, I had some time tonight and decided to see how long it would take to pull the ECU out. It took me about 10-15 minutes and that is mostly due to all the stuff (audio amp, and fuse block ) that I had to get out of the way to get the underseat tray out. I plan to drop by the dealer and see if...

There may be other options. What do you plan to do with the 12 VDC outlet? Is your bike an A or AE?
