You apparently do not understand the difference between the master red key and the 2 black keys. You can not copy a master key without spending huge dollars, you can easily copy a normal chipped key. The master key can perform functions that a normal chipped key can't. There is a difference...

What is the RPM when you first start up the bike ? The bike always starts on fast / cold idle, ie the Fast Speed Idle Circuit. If not someone has played around with the adjuster or has disabled it. As the wax motor heats up, via the 2 small coolant pipes, it blocks off the 4 fast speed idle...

No use asking the USA gents, it's your immobiliser. Really hope you have the red master key or you are F*^#ed. It does have one doesn't it? Costs about $3500 AUD if you have lost it or it doesn't come with the bike. New ECU and immobiliser, all new keys and barrels.

Yep, I think there has been a number of official reports to the authorities to warrant a proper official recall on the whole wiring harness. Or a lot of owners just haven't bothered. And of course dealers will not report such events / faults. In Australia we have only had a few Spider Bites...

There was just a spate of Spider Bites recently on 2 forums due to the bypass harness not being installed correctly.

The original recall fix, the S4 bypass lead, (if installed correctly, lol lol) was to fix all the problems ..................... NOPE it only addressed one particular fault, look at all the other different types of neutral connector faults, the S6, S7 and S8 and some other odd ball ones...

Just bite the bullet and do it yourself. Make up your own bypass for all 6 12volt neutral connectors. They F*****ed up again by the looks of it. Just stop worrying about Yamaha and do it, you know it will done right. Spend an afternoon on it and it will be all fixed,problem over.
