For a valve check, what should I bring? I plan on bringing a few tools....Valve gasket? Shims? Anything else? I presume that I can pick these items up at Moons in Monticello. Bill

I appreciate the sentiment and reasoning. I ride on good tires but I will take a chance and mix the four ounces of Yamaha gear oil into the 24 ounces of AMS gear oil and will push the envelope and live on the edge!

Mine has a similar problem. The FJR automatically goes about 20 MPH faster than posted speed. Then if you are not paying attention it will go faster! Bill
