Tioga isn't open yet, Simon. USUALLY they plow it for Memorial Day weekend. There's still snow up high so Glacier Point wasn't open, either. Luckily it has been really warm and we had mid-70s on the valley floor.

I'm coming down Thursday and spending Thursday and Friday nights. I'll ride on Saturday and then "peel off" and head for Mom's in Pasadena. Seeing old friends, meeting new ones, riding with my bud's, enjoying another area's fine roads and spending Mother's Day with Mom...all in one weekend...

Not going. Other problems forced FJR water pump repair to be but off until tomorrow. And I did not bring the used FZ-1 home today when I went to get the parts at Yamaha....

Maybe. I've got a coolant leak I'll be searching for today. Might be the water pump seal....dripping through the weep hole. If I can get it repaired, even though it's a Sunday, I'll be there.

If you're asking me....I will not be attending. While I'm at about 75-80%, I think the best thing I can do is not strain things or tempt fate but to stay indoors and rest. I'm sure the rest of the Central Valley clan would be glad to see you....

If Starbucks is closed, there is an AM/PM across the street. I'm guessing most riders/drivers can spot an FJR or two. If there is not a huge improvement, I'll not be coming. My reasoning is that 1 more day resting and taking meds might be the best thing I can do in preparation for returning...
