    2008 Land of Enchantment 1000

I think it's a Suzuki franchise so it shouldn't be a problem. Maybe Google Suzuki and Los Lunas and you'll probably get a hit. Let me know if you don't have any luck and I'll see what I can find out for you.

WoW just rode my FJR for first time.

That really is a great example of "adding insult to injury"! I recommend a long road trip to get your universe back in balance. <_<

My latest diversion. Sometimes a commuter, but mainly my "adventure" bike.

    NikWax Rocks!

Been using NW for several years now and gotta agree it's a great product. Another benefit is it make all the zippers work better!. I've used the cotton formulation on jeans and it turns them into light duty rain/ski pants.

Book Review: Jupiter's Travels by Ted Simon

I met Ted Simon at a book signing for Jupiter's Travels back in 97'. He autographed my copy and I was able to talk to him for some time. Very down to earth guy. Great read.

    Mounting FJR with "top box"

Simple fix. Have her remove aforementioned tight leather pants, then try again. That should do it. Remember, It didn't happen without PICS!!

    Mounting FJR with "top box"

With you seated on the bike, her left hand on your left shoulder and her left foot on the passenger peg. She can then step up and over. Voila.............What the hell do I know, I'm a bachelor!

    Hot Hot Hot

Here's another option. https://www.sampson-sporttouring.com/beaded-seats.html I tried the sheepskin and while it worked well, the beads (for me) were superior. They mount with two adjustable, elastic cords. I've had mine for a little over 4 years and they are holding up well. Enjoy!

    High mileage recommendation

I've got an 07' DR650 that I've recently started commuting on. It's getting 50+ mpg in town and has plenty of hit for highway use. Don't think the dealerships have started gouging them yet. Fun for weekend off-road adventures as well! It's the "Jeep Wrangler" of the stable.

With great regret I am hanging up my boots

I understand what you're feeling but as the old saying goes "never say never". Take a break from riding and see how you feel a few months down the road. Worked for me. Hope you continue giving us those great racing updates from your side of the pond!

Today was a good day, a really really really good day!

Congrats on the "new" 03'. I have many good memories of mine and still insist it was faster and ran cooler than my 05'! As you can see, mine was heavily farkled. Enjoy :clapping:
