    Radman has passed away

Never met him but always enjoyed his posts on the forum. Seems like a lot of the old guard are leaving us. Be strong Kathy.

    WynPro ( BIG-FOOT)

Got mine today and as always, a nice piece of work. My stand had a little nub on it's "heel" that I eliminated with a die grinder. Then I mixed up some JB weld in the foot cutout and installed the screws with some blue Loctite. Look great, tucks in nice. Thanks Dave

Looking for a Gen II low mileage OEM rear shock take-off

I've got a GEN II rear shock in great shape with about 5500mi. on it. It came off my 09" and it's been sitting (boxed) in my garage for awhile now. Give me a shout if you want it and we'll figure out what it's worth. Thanks.

Another chance to get your Saddle Sore 1000 in Arizona!

That's the exact same route I ran to earn my first SS 1000 back in 1999! Cool!

Questions for BMW R1200RT Owners (FJR Content I Promise)

Besides my new FJR, I still own a 2012 R1200RT and ride with two friends who both own 2014's. The side bags are roughly the same volume wise. There are two top boxes available, a small 29 liter and a larger version. The BMW top boxes are double walled which cuts down on interior room a bit and...

    FJR vs. Bear

Must have been scary waiting for reinforcements to arrive. I'd be worried the bear might come back your way for round two! It's bad enough what you went through but then to possibly be mauled by a pissed off bear.....Damm. Glad you're OK. What did your insurance company say when you told them...

    Comin' Back Home

Thanks guys for the welcome back wishes. The two guys I do the most miles with both bought 2014 RT's this Spring. Yes, they are the "suspension challenged" beemers whose owners received the "Do Not Ride" notification from the Der Fatherland. One of them traded his back (for a full refund) for a...

    Comin' Back Home

Well, it's been 2 1/2 years since I left the FJR fold and bought a 2012 BMW R1200RT. Can't say anything really bad about the bike itself as it always worked well for me, but it just never felt "right". In the end, I had to make the change. Tuesday, my RT is headed for my local Beemer dealer to...

Ohlins YA707 arriving in the next few days...

Zenwhipper - Hadn't seen those pics for some time but I can tell you this. It transformed my 09' into one of the finest handling, smooth riding bikes I've ever owned. You're gonna love it!

    Givi top case

Greg - I've got a V47 that I just road tested on a 2000 mi trip and have to say it worked great. Enough capacity to be useful, but doesn't look like doppler weather radar station.

    Look What Followed Me Home

I wanted one of those so bad but didn't have the bucks to pull it off. I got to ride a friend's CR back in the late 70's and I'm thinking that's what planted the seed. Been threatening for years to buy a doner sportster and do the Storz performance treatment. Think the XR finally scratched that...

    Look What Followed Me Home

Thanks Don. A good friend of mine (Jim Hickerson) actually participated in and finished the Iron Butt Rally several years ago riding an S3T. Everyone including myself gave him little to no chance to finish on the Buell. He had to replace a battery along the way but that was it. What a classic!

    Look What Followed Me Home

Greg - You know I'm already ******** so I feel right to home on this bad boy. I'm seein' this one as a short term fling. I bought it so right I can ride the ***** this season and get my money back later down the road. Didn't have to ask anyone but myself for permission. You can spend big bucks...

    Look What Followed Me Home

Always wanted one of these. Almost bought one a couple years ago but couldn't quite swing the deal. Found this one on consignment w/3500 mi. at a local shop. Made the owner a lowball offer and he took it. A real hoot to ride. Great "second" bike.
