    I think I know the answer, but I don't like it, so I want a 2nd-3rd-4th opinion

You might try taking one of the side bag locks in to a lock smith. They come apart very easily and any locksmith worth his salt should be able to cut a fresh one to match the tumbler stack up.

What did you do to your FJR today?

Ok, ok, it's been close to a week, I'll give it a try tomorrow maybe while it's still light out.

What did you do to your FJR today?

Took it over to the dealer to get the ecu reflashed to mother ship's latest and greatest ecu firmware revision 1.01. Haven't had the courage to try a slow key on event to test it out yet. Per another member's comments, I decided to try a V Stream tall boy this time around and put one on, It...

2016 FJR1300A Check Engine Light On

Got a call from my dealer's service manager a while ago. He informed me that mother ship has released a firmware update to address the issues listed in these previous posts, and I didn't ride in to work today dammit.

    So long

My hat is off to those who volunteer their time to run an an asylum like this, it can no doubt be a thankless job. But then again sometimes it's not what one says but rather how they say it. Some of us have figured out by now the underlying issue that caused this thread in the first place, and...

With that kind of spin job, I'm guessing you could have a bright future with the main stream media.

    Bent valve in 2005 Expedition

fwiw, I'd try the O2 sensor route first. I don't trust "professional" mechanics as far as I can throw them. I've been preyed upon in the past and went the way of fixing my **** my own self. I'm getting pissed just talking about it, back on topic, I think you are right about the cats, they prolly...

    So long

KJ, Marty, Wheatie, then Bob and Gramps? I've met 4 of these gents and had a great time meeting and riding with them. These guys don't strike me as the type that would get butthurt easily. I wouldn't think their decisions were spur of the moment. I'd like to know what drove them out but have not...

What did you do to your FJR today?

I was able to reset cel #5 from where I assed up last week and let my key lanyard catch on the ram ball link while keying on....again. I bought the same OBDII adapter cable that Adam got from orientexpress.com, and a cheapo OBDII wifi scanner module off of Amazon. I am now armed and dangerous...

Trailer Build - hopefully in improvement to my current one

Too cool. I'm used to stuffing 10 lbs of crap in a 5 lb sack. If I had a 10 lb sack I prolly wouldn't know what to do with it but the wife would, she'd find 20 lbs of crap to put in it! Cool looking build you have going on there.

    FJR Mileage Milestones

Don't know if this is really a milestone compared to some of the big dogs in here, but my '16 that I picked up April 15th turned 10k on the way home from Hooterville last week, and it's now ready for another set of rubber.
