Since you're in FL with its corrosive environment maybe an annual spritz is in order?I guess embedded links in the text aren't the way to go I've had other people miss them too, sorry.

Remember psycho killer lyrics by the talking heads..."say something once, why say it again?"Ummmm, that rep meter is meaningless to me.

    Short long story

"I pick up my new 2010 FJR at D&H on Saturday." Now that's what I call problem solving skills! Enjoy!

"off to get some contact cleaner" FWIW, the Pro Gold I mentioned in the other thread is a little more than run of the mill contact cleaner.

    AVCC

"Again, in my opinion, you should tap more than one vacuum port on the throttle bodies" My FJR's AVCC works well using just one port, I'd think your canister/ CV combo should work fine. Just put a CCS100 on my DL650, again only tapping one port, works great. I used a 10"-12"Lx3/4"id hose...

I dunno, beads still work well in some applications.

    Advanced MSF Course ?

"I try to learn what I can from the wise people on the forum (once I've figured out who they are, and who is full of it)." I try and make a point to read people's sharing on crashes or close calls to try and learn what not to do. Sometimes people give excellent details right up to the oh ****...

    Electric roads

I'll split the difference on cost, just fill all the current potholes that can swallow my front wheel and we'll call it even. ;)

    Advanced MSF Course ?

I took one on my FJR not long after I bought it used and ended up setting it down onto the left side after coming to a stop during an emergency exercise. It really depends on how tough the teachers are, mine were not, and it wasn't nearly as beneficial as the beginners course. A big heavy bike...

PR2 Front End Wobble with dynabeads balancing

"Ahh, I see; those in the elite high post count class can roll eyes and go off topic and be unhelpful" No actually, a high post count is not a hijack prerequisite but starting or replying to a topic does require a certain amount of sarcastic immunity. :P I like Iggy's analogy of the Tavern...

(I still have my cap on), if I were you I'd balance them both yourself. I don't trust those machines are maintained and calibrated all that well and some of the weight slappers are less than meticulous.

"slight vibration between approx 87-113" OK, I put my genius cap on. :glare: Multiple runs on different roads, no winds, no other vehicles stirring up air? Yes, and no change? I'm goin with ****** tar then. Better? ;)

"they just need a non sticky surface to roll around." Good thing hot rubber meets that requirement.

Does anyone elses TSB look like this?

Yeah, I did mine once with a single tube ATF filled manometer, it was pretty boring so I'm good too.Although it did reduce my rear tire wear significantly. ;)

I'm doubtful, but I'll admit that magnetized porcelain is rather intriguing. I have enough stick-on lead weights to last my lifetime, I'm good. :)

David, don't worry about your numeric reputation. Howie's already proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that you can't be kicked off this site.
