Right click on the one in my sig line and "save as" to somewhere on your hard drive. Then update your sig line... you may need to put it in photobucket first.
Good job keeping it up... I'm not sure how with hard braking. Mine wasn't totaled, the sub-frame was okay, and the total repair was $5,700.
That should be fun. Speed is supposed to carry the race on Sunday @ 5:00PM Central.
Someone posted this site link before for racing schedules, but in case anyone missed it... TV Racer
One piece of advise Doc, the mirrors can say "no", but they can't say "yes". In other words, after checking the mirror, do a deliberate head turn/check to where you want to go. Maybe you did that. If not, just a suggestion. Glad you're okay.
That's surprising... I would've thought sales would've increased due to rising gas prices. The bike is my primary mode of transportation, but I guess the majority of riders see the bike as only a leisure vehicle. Using the V8 truck everyday would be a killer in the pocketbook.
Congratulations Bogie. If you haven't booked honeymoon accommodations yet, check out Jackson Mountain Homes. The wife and I have used them several times. Get a cabin off the beaten path.
That is a good story. It's a good thing the daughter came out when she did, or the poor bloke could've suffered more damage. What about the other 2 sitting with him... "Oh look, their beating up our mate." "Let's just finish our coffee".
Congratulations to M.U. and British soccer.
You guys take that stuff seriously. I read a book sometime back entitled "Among the Thugs"... can't remember the author. He basically hung with/ became one of the hooligan type supporters for one of the teams. It was pretty frightening... they...
Holy Crap! That reminds me of when I was 12 and my uncle let me shoot his 12 ga. dbl. barrel shotgun. I accidentally pulled both triggers. :blinksmiley:
As lame and inflammatory as this topic is, as others have stated, you felt the need to post the same topic TWICE?... with the same damn topic title? Same topic, same title, different thread.
I like your shtick, Slick, I think I'll follow suit. I'm gonna go join a Harley forum and hurl verbal gauntlets at their feet in defense of my FJR. Kinda like Don Quixote jousting with the windmill... pointless, but entertaining in an odd way.
Thanks for posting Pharoah... I didn't take my camera this year. Wfooshee also took some excellent action shots. I was there, sorry I missed you... of course, I missed everyone.
Calling Scab... he bought an FZ6 after totaling his FJR. PM him if he doesn't catch this thread.
Edit to add, the FZ6 ain't no slouch, so he should be able to handle the power. The weight and slow maneuvers may be a concern.
Glad you were wearing the gear, like keithaba said, the repairs will be pricey. Man, it only takes a second. I saw a dog standing by the side of the road that looked exactly like my dear departed Cairne Terrier, Doc. After a second or two I snapped out of it, only to realize I was about to...
