Bump for 2021

I had my valves checked and plugs replaced while the engine was sitting on the bench. Charged me 1.5 hrs. Your dealer is a d!ck. Canadian FJR

Picked my bike up today, mine was three of four that this dealer is doing - as far as he knows. Senior tech is doing this recall in about 11 hrs. Didn’t get a chance to test ride it yet - winter. Canadian FJR

Delivered mine to the dealer this afternoon.  Plan to pick it up on Thursday. Canadian FJR

I will add that this rack is a nice piece of equipment.  Pricey but very sturdy. Much better than the plastic piece that was used originally for the 39l boxes. Canadian FJR

“My nagging question is if they fix second gear why do the detune on the ECU?” Im trying to get that answer from my dealer and also just how “detuned” it is. Canadian FJR  

I do not mind admitting, I’ve put mine through the test on several occasions.  On track and off. Roll on power wheelies and other foolishness.  I don’t think mine will become an issue but better safe than sorry. Canadian FJR

If any of you have removed the rear pegs you know that there is a small ball bearing in there that is pretty easy to loose. I have a few extras, if you want one just PM me and I'll send it out free of charge. You can't buy just one from the dealer. Canadian FJR

*******s - find another shop. I would also report them to Yamaha head office.  They should be bending over backwards to resolve this issue. Not bending you over. Canadian FJR

If there is ever a situation that I need it switched backed quickly (warranty issue) then shipping is not an option. These days it is taking a month to ship from the States to Canada. Canadian FJR
