    Beyond Frustration--Mirror Mount Bracket Snapped

Welding in place, any plastic/rubber/paint near the weld area will likely ignite. If using MIG or TIG, the ground would need to be as close as possible to the work so no current goes through the bike's electronics or bearings. Also, it looks from your pics like only one side is accessible; such...

    Goodbye y'all and thanks

Suffered through a 25 year hiatus from motorcycling myself (1971-1996), raising the kids. You'll be ready to take it up again when the time is right - never too late, as long as you can throw a leg over the saddle. Don't be a stranger here, stop back even if just to read the excellent ride...

    ABS--Thank You!

Glad to hear you weren't seriously injured or worse. You're correct about not forgetting the sight of a forest rat impaled on the front of your bike. Love my ABS also, it's saved my bacon once on the FJR and once on the Wing.

    High up at Monolith Gardens

All the squirrels she's terrorized and a squeaky toy does her in? Hope she heals up quick. Nice video, I liked the music.

What is your minimum size bike?

Actually, I'm in the process of adapting my GIVI bags to my FJR. I use the GIVIs on my Suzukis and prefer them to the FJR factory bags.

What is your minimum size bike?

Of the four I have on the road right now - '85 Madura, '93 GSX1100G, '07 FJR, and 2010 GL 1800 - the little Madura has been getting the most miles. Most of the riding I've been doing is backroading and day trips; the little Suzook has all the necessary power for that and is easiest to handle in...

    Heavy ...

Definitely the best use for a planter that I've heard described... Glad you made the save without injury.

    Crescent wrench set

Extensions aren't absolutely necessary for the tool to work, but they do increase its usefulness - I bought mine knowing there were no extensions included. Use of extensions has saved the skin on my knuckles on more than one occasion when a tight bolt or nut suddenly broke loose...

    Crescent wrench set

Thanks for the link, I'll have to check into this and see if those extensions are compatible with the Crescent sockets and see if they are available separately.

    Crescent wrench set

Saw these https://www.homedepot.com/p/Crescent-3-8-in-Drive-Pass-Thru-Adjustable-Wrench-Set-11-Piece-CPTAW8/205642158 online and thought they would make a useful addition to the tool bag I take on trips. A little pricey at the original $35 - $40 asking price, but at the $20 Home Depot is...

    The ONE Picture Ride Report

Another perfect day for a ride here today. The old Suzook got new fork seals the other day (originals lasted 31 years and 64k miles), so a test ride was in order. Pulled into one of my favorite spots to stop and enjoy the view, PA 475 (Maddensville Rd.) between Clear Ridge and Hustontown.

    Tire pressure gauges

I bought this https://www.amazon.com/Astro-3018-Digital-Inflator-Stainless/dp/B002PUTC0M to use as a garage gauge, since it's designed to use with a compressor. Works great on my bikes that have the 83 degree valve stems and for the cages. Definitely the most convenient one I've used.

Riding to D&H Cycle to pick up a 2016

Glad you weren't injured. Guess I better start carrying some JB Weld on the Feej; seems that's a popular repair item...

    The ONE Picture Ride Report

Had a nice ramble up through south central PA today, some old favorites and a couple new (for me) roads. Saw this on Rt. 16 at Cove Gap, PA; thought about knocking on the door, but it didn't look like anyone was home...
