Last night my firstborn son Sean, and his wonderful wife Brittany, brought Rowan Rose into the world. All three are doing fine, though Sean has that 'I'm in over my head' kinda of look on his face. :lol:

I remember that "I'm in over my head" feeling when my son was born. That feeling has only gotten worse as he gets older.

I was laid off at the time my first daughter was born. Had to pay the hospital bills out of my own pocket. It was tough times then. But when I think back at the day she was born nothing else mattered. Life is simply amazing sometimes. And yes I made that. Well I did have some help from mom.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate it.

While I do have grandchildren, this was the first through my bloodlines. It caused me to pause, and think about all the people before her that had to live, and have ***, before her existence could happen, including mine. This thought humbles me greatly, and gives greater understanding of those who say their children are their greatest achievement. That is exactly how I feel. That, and blessed.
