If you couldn't have an FJR what would be the next best thing?

No. No switch to move the windshield. No need. Look, the FJR is fast and sexy. But, it is limited to pavement. The S10 won't snap your neck on the on ramp like the FJR will, but it will cruise at 80MPH all day with the right tires and will explore that fire road for hours in comfort and with...

Super Tenere. Does everything the FJR did and goes off road. JSNS

    2007 FJR1300AE

Just check for the ECU recall being done. Other than that, the '07 is known as the prettiest and fastest of all the FJR's. Let me know where you saw it for sale so I can outbid you.

    DV March 2020

Dougie, Why is the other S10 still upright? Tires? Whaddaya using in that slop? Oh, and Mikey, what ride report? A picture in the RR section does not a Ride Report make. JSNS.

Marky Mark is smarter than that. That's 100% Yamaha there. The Mikey Mike GS.... what can you say. I tried to knock some sense into the boy.

GIVE 56 Litre top case + SR357 Mount+ Bar risers

I have a GIVI 56 litre top case that I ran on my '07 FJR for a number of years. Sadly, the '07 is no longer with us, but the GIVI survived unscathed. It is silver in color with a few minor scratches here and there from general use. It comes with the SR357 mount and a pair of bar risers if...

    In memorium...Richard Christensen

I first met Dr. Rich in early '08 when he organized a February President's Day ride to Bodega Bay. Being a bit of a wallflower I was impressed with how quickly he made me feel welcome. He was always that way. A few invites were thrown out to visit him on Whidby Island but life or lame excuses...

    If it saves one life

I've always hated the idea of "If it saves one life". Not because life isn't precious, but because nobody ever counters with a cost/benefit concern. That being said, this won't cost a thing, so it might possibly be worth it. BTW, Ride Reports may or may not be the best place for this but here...

    16th annual “Bite the Wieenie”

Or for some real fun, move this event to the Original Tommy's at Beverly & Rampart. Make it a Saturday night when USC has a Home game. Now that's a good time. JSNS

    Broken Penske Clevis.

Oh crap. 90K miles with the original shock, no service to the entire undercarriage. Pulled apart and greased the sidestand twice. I have my third air filter sitting on my work bench waiting to be installed. Replaced a brake pad here or there( I can't remember which). Replaced the coolant once...

    So long

I guess I do need to talk about it

Wait a minute. You damaged an '07 not once but twice? Yes, by all that is right and just you should stop riding. Damnit man, you should have stopped before the first crash! For shame.

    NAFO 2016 Official Thread

The biggest problem I have with Nevada and Colorado is the fact that they lower the "speed limit" in the mountains to the lowest reasonable speed for the tightest corner in that section of roadway. Therefore, if you're on a motorcycle, you nearly fall over from lack of speed in the sweepers...
