I drove my XS11 into a UDontHaul truck. Halfway up the ramp, I was seriously slowing down so I gave the grip a good twist and lofted the front wheel. With all 800 or so pounds (including me) on the rear wheel, it left a nice dent in the aluminum ramp.

Count me in for the ride from EDH to Auburn. Might have to head home after lunch.

I disagree. A woman drove into the rear end of my XS11 at the gas pumps. She knocked it about four feet forward and it wound up on its side. I billed her for the visible damage. I had a rack rigidly attached to the rear frame (no sub-frame in those days). Imagine my surprise when the rear...

Ride down and have it done while-u-wait if you can. My wife had him do a little tweaking and got it just right. Been very happy with the saddle.

+1 on too many variables. I once drove 52 miles on reserve before I had to park it and call the wife.

They have an airbag for the Gold Wing, but it looks like a big pink butt. Farkleschnark, try not to drop the bike again.

An aftermarket shock with ride height adjustment will reduce peg scraping (and improve handling) as long as you're not short of inseam.

Ohio, Can't tell you about the Russell, but it doesn't seem to be much of a problem on the Rick Mayer standard saddle. It's built up in the back (think butt cup) but not in the front, where it has a rounded profile. As long as you move a little forward when you hang off, it's not a problem...

Really like my Rick Mayer. Ride in if you can or tell him what you want if you can't.
