    Roadside Assistance

AAA RV Plus blows AMA motow into the weeds. You will recoup the price of the membership in AAA hotel discounts by the tenth day of your trip. I crashed my ZX 11 in Northern Cali. Had a flatbed tow there in 30 min with a 70 mile ride to Redding CA. All I had to do was sign 3 times, press...

    Peak To Peak

Day 2, it's a little spendy, but you could consider staying at the Skamania Lodge in Stephenson. If that is a little rich, you might find more reasonable lodging in Hood River. Great ride up to St. Helens and Rainier from there. Mt Olympus would be a peak too far. You could squeeze in Mt...

    Too Smooth!

I think Yamaha is smoking crack. There are a couple of instances of two time tickers. On top of the problems, this ******* bike is costing way too much to fit the intended mission. Let's see: fix the FI with a PC3, more comfortable seat, fix the buffeting with a windshield, roast your shins...

    Mileage On The Oem Tires?

I replaced my BT020's at 6500 because I was leaving on a long trip. Probably had another 1000 miles left in them. I seem to be fairly easy on tires compared to those I ride with.

    Ticking Archive

GR - you gonna get yours fixed? Sunnyside is going to do mine in July.

    Too Smooth!

All joking aside, mine seems to indicate rather lean with stock setup. John's been running the PC3 with the Wally map and I would like to know what the plugs looked like after 4k miles with that setup. I am at a crossroad with my FJR ownershit. my 05 is ticking at 7k miles. Sunnyside is...

    Mount Rainier

That's a nice ride. Thanks for the invite, you probably passed right in front of my house on your way out. I was looking for an excuse to ride today, instead i did yard work

    Who Were You?

Yeah, I didn't care much for his music either, but I think it was the most awesome nickname evar! Riding the FJR is kinda like being conveyed along on a velvet fog. So smooth and quiet that you've already blown by before they know you were there. Kinda like when I passed a prarie dog sitting...

    Who Were You?

That would be me. I'm up for the dog and pony show any time. I am greench440 on all other boards.

    Too Smooth!

How do your plugs look? at my 8k service, I think mine look a little too white, as in too lean. Haven't tried any adjustments or a PC3 yet. I got 44 mpg over a 2200 mile trip. What's the mileage like with the PC3 and the wally map?

First Spark Plug Change, 2nd Tbs

That would be the correct tool. You won't need the adapters, just connect the hoses directly to the Throttlebodies. I just finished my 8k service and found my plugs to be much looser than expected. I changed them at 4k and torqued to the 9 ft-lb spec. I checked them at the 8k and reverted to...
