If you strap to the rear wheel and there is ANY movement fore/aft the wheel will begin to saw thru the strap. I only use 3 tie downs,soft ties on the fork lowers and 1 on the reat rim pulling straight back, but now I run the rear strap thru a leather glove.

The facemask on my Nolan closes automatically when you raise the chinbar. I haven't had a problem with the helmet tugging even up to freeway speeds.

"Hot Grips" brand recommends 2 part epoxy for the install.JB Weld. Only problem I ever had was when I used a Canyon Dancer for a tie down point, glue "broke" free. Was able to scrape old epoxy out of the grip and re-do. Been holding 9 yrs now.

Make yourself more visible,eithor with lights on the bike,or your clothing. Never buy clothing or raingear without reflective piping.
