It was a great day with great guys. However, I broke off and went to visit a friend. Bad decision. The return to the wetside was a horrendous traffic nightmare.

Leaving Federal Way about 7:20ish, slabbing it up to 20, and might sneak in Loop Loop.

The ride will be a minimum of 500 miles and possible as high as 650 if baby sitter is available for that long.

Stopping for gas is always a necessity, so no worries for extra stops. As an aside, remembering to top off is important so there isn't an issue with running out of gas.

Wife is out of town and arranged babysitting so that I can get a day out riding. Preliminary route is north from Federal Way to Highway 20, south on SR 97 to Ellensburg, Yakima canyon, and back over SR 410. A long day, but they are limited in nature so need to make the most of them. Route...

As my 2820 recently stopped finding satellites, the $60 tablet with GPS is a cost effective solution over buying a new Garmin.

Awesome. Wfooshee, when did you last update the maps on the 2820? Mine was 09 and contemplating doing it again, but with Windows 10 laptop I am a little worried.
