This thread is a year and a half old. That may be why they don't know what your talking about. Most motorcycle shops don't have that great of employee retention either. Good luck on finding some tires.

I have been talking to a local custom tank fab shop. The design shown in picture 2 is similar to what we have discussed. For what little I know I like it best. The shop has also discussed curving the front of the tank to act as a back rest. Your progress looks great. Thanks.

If you open your top box a warning sticker is under the lid. States 120kph/80mph. Definitely legal eagle stuff. I usually cruise at or above that area and I am still here( and so is the box). It is a smoother ride without the box but I have heard of 130+mph with a top box, but thats just a...
