    Yamaha Super Tenere 1200

On ADVrider, a guy writes that the price in Holland will be 16,999 euros for the "First Edition" bike as pictured (w/ panniers, bash plate, etc.). That's $22,900.00. Ouch..!! I refer back to my earlier comment that I wouldn't expect to see this bike here in the US for less than $14,000.00 (ex...

    Yamaha Super Tenere 1200

They're what's on a GS so there are plenty of options - including knobbies, available. Matter-of-fact, this bike is so squarely targeting the GS, it's almost a shock that Yamaha just doesn't come right out and say it.

    Yamaha Super Tenere 1200

It's anyone's guess. Yamaha was supposed to launch the 660 here in '09, but that didn't happen owing to lack of dealer interest. While I'm sure the dealers may have more interest in this bike, big ticket bikes still aren't moving here (I'd put money on a price point of at least $14K if and when...

    Adding Events to the Olympics

Video from the 2009 US Pole Dancing Championships: Click! The reason pole dancing will never be an Olympic sport is that it's really women only. And, quite frankly, I'm not interested in it becoming a men's sport in order to qualify. No... No, I wouldn't want to see that happen at all. :bad:

    OOOOOOoooooo....AHHHHHHHhhhhhh........

"Semakin Di Depan" is Malay/Indonesian for "Always in the Front". (Southeast Asia is Yamaha's biggest market bar none. They sold over 1.5 million sub-125cc bikes - mainly scooters, in Indonesia alone last year.)

Did Yamaha know beforehand that Honda was going to mess up the VFR?

There are several dozen moto-journalists that felt the same way until they saw it in person... Not likely we're going to see the FZ8 in the US anytime soon. Europe gets it first.

    No 2010 Suzukis Planned

Article link: No 2010 Suzukis Planned I suppose this explains why there haven't been any updates to Suzuki's website. This decision will likely lead to some fantastic deals on '09 carry-overs...

    2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200 Revealed

Indeed. Like many used Ducs I see, they'll be hitting the dealers' used inventories with very low miles and lots of tasty farkles already bolted on; all the nice carbon fiber bits and Termi exhausts. It must be nice to have more money than one knows what to do with (though I'd enjoy the...

    2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200 Revealed

If I was leaning more heavily in the DS direction, I think there a bikes that are far better bang-for-the-buck than the base model MTS 1200. At the same price point (less, actually), I can get a fully-loaded BMW F800GS. (And, if I was really smart I'd run - not walk, over to the Portland-are...

    2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200 Revealed

US pricing for the 2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200 has been announced: MTS 1200 Pricing The touring model has really piqued my interest. That said, I suppose my immediate reaction to the pricing is this: I'm not spending twenty-*******-thousand dollars on a bike... :glare:
