Rumors of a Honda Supersport apparently false

No rear shots (as yet), only these... It *looks* like the bottom of the hard bags are concaved thus the exhaust gasses flow unobstructed underneath the bag...? EDIT: I found another picture which shows this concaved bag shape much better. And, if you look closely, it appears that there's...

    1200CC YAMAHA dual sport

And, 20 months later, I still think a 1200cc DS is just too big. But then again, most BMW 1200GS bikes never see anything more treacherous than a groomed fire road... (Kind of like most people's 4-wheel drive trucks/SUVs.)

Harley-Davidson is going to discontinue Buell M/C line

HD dealer incentive program for Buell sales: Harley paying dealers $5,000 for every Buell sold Bottom line: don't feel bad about low-balling the hell out of the dealer.

What is wrong with my left mirror?

That's what's called "market pricing". Good to know given I have an office in Singapore. Perhaps I'll order my parts from a local dealer to be delivered that office, and then hand-carry them back to the US when I'm there. Now there's a thought..! :)

What is wrong with my left mirror?

You might want to take another look, but as I recall it's light guage steel. I'll get another look at mine in a couple of weeks when I pull the fairing off to replace a panel.

What is wrong with my left mirror?

If you replace it, it's 1 piece, listed as "Stay 1" (p/n 3P6-28356-00-00) on the "Cowling 1" parts fiche (line item 36). Cycle Parts Nation has it for US$ 308.43. As it's steel and not aluminum, I'd think that a good auto body or precision metal shop should be able to straighten the original...

What is wrong with my left mirror?

Nope, absolutely not a manufacturing defect. Sorry to have to tell you this, but that bike has been dropped on its right side. The previous owner likely replaced the mirror which would have taken the brunt of the fall, but didn't go to the trouble of straightening the fairing subframe. You will...

    HID Auxiliary Lighting Configuration

I'm considering replacing my PIAA 1100X auxiliary driving lights with micro HIDs. A pair of the Trail Tech HID SCMR16 (model 4212) is the lamp I'm considering as it's a virtual bolt-on/plug-in replacement for the 1100X, albeit at half the wattage (and half the price of the PIAA-labeled Cross...

Harley-Davidson is going to discontinue Buell M/C line

Though not completely unexpected, this is terrible news. The US will no longer have a domestically engineered and produced sportbike of any consequence. Erik Buell has been so far out in front on so many aspects of sportbike design (mass centralization anyone?), that most other major...
