    The 2014 FJR1300 - Woo-hoo!

I'll keep that in mind Iris. But so far my dealer has treated me OK so I hate to not buy it from him. And Colonie is only about a 2 hour trip for me.

    The 2014 FJR1300 - Woo-hoo!

Good for you Iris and Jim. I too am going to get a 2014. Mine will most likely be a 1300A. But if my dealer treats me right I might get a ES. Time will tell.

Yuasa YT14B-BS has 210 CCA. About the most I found for about $125. YMMV

    New England campout!

I live about 45 minutes away from there in case you want to "hook up" for a ride. Tom

    So what's the best battery?

I've had the best luck with the Yuasa YT14B-BS battery. Best Cold Cranking Amps to be had. They can be bought for $100 TO $120.

Glad you got your FJR back on the road. I'm also glad I was a SMALL part of this ADVENTURE. If you ever get up to the North East Fred W and I can take you on a couple of "tours". Fred's do include DIRT roads!! Enjoy the FJR.

    Retirement

I know what you mean Jim. After 8 months of retirement I needed to get out of my "honey do" list. Found myself a part time job (not a good like yours however). It's all good.

Dealer maintenance vs. local (very trusted) mechanic

If you do go with your local mechanic having a service will help. Just my $.02.....YMMV

Never mind Bungie, I found the problem. Once I used Chrome instead of IE 8 everything worked. I'm now entered on the list. Don't you just love Microsoft?? NOT
