Hi all,

Relocated from Oregon not too long ago. Looks like weather will be nice tomorrow and I will go out to discover the area. I would not mind joining along others for a nice mellow ride if some fellow forum members are going for a spin.

Welcome to the group and the northeast! I'm just down the road in Victor. There is a forum member down the road a little further in Geneva as well, so we are around. I'd be up for a ride but not until the salt is wash off the road, then a matter of finding a weekend where the kids don't have a game someplace. I wouldn't mind meeting up even if it's for a half day around one of the Finger Lakes once the weather breaks.

Just want to make sure you are aware; on FJR rides the AE riders have to buy the manual shift riders lunch, then dinner if it's an overnight event. Those are the rules.

I'm just across the bay in Irondequoit . . . a bit too busy with work today to get the bikes out and play . . . but a nice ride out Lake Rd to Sodus Point is in order soon.

It's bad enough I have to tow you Neanderthals around with my AE but having to listen to your whining about your limp wrist hurting so bad from pulling in the clutch that you can't open your wallet to buy your own lunch is too much.

Welcome! Also from Rochester. Lived in Webster for a while, but now living near East and Alexander.

Definitely take advantage of the weather before it gets cold again. Just beware all the salt.

I see that the AE brings some of the same "emotions" here as back West.

Thanks for all of the responses. Took the beast out over the weekend and it was indeed a bit slippery due to salt and gravel. Took it easy...
