Ditto Fred's comments. I will say that the barn doors gather a bunch of air. It is possible that strength has been degraded by this, sun and detergents. Have you yanked the W yet? Are the cracks emanating from the screw holes?
Also, I'm doubtful that the spacers have much to do with it.
I got some not-so-good news for you, sparky... The RS's go all flooey around 2.5k. Looks just like the 021. Happened on mine and on MCML's departing NAFO. Tire pressures were fine, but they just started going the triangle route. Oddly, they came back and began to round off about 1k later...
Slacker.
Hey, BTW, did you calculate the cost of gas for the 50k? I did. I figger it's around $4,400. Ooh, and tires? Around $2,600.
Have a nice day!

For Pony: Brilliant!
For Mrs. Pony: Why, that's just terrible! I think the wee pranksters should do some community service... Send them down - I have windows that need cleaning. If they do a good job, I'll take them to Von's as a reward.
:)
Sometimes, "official" recognition don't mean ****. If your peers know (or, more importantly, if you know) you accomplished something, then that's all that matters.
There are a few folks here that have done some mighty feats of endurance that will never receive official recognition. Frankly...
Oh, OK. I suppose that a cager turning left in front of you in broad daylight will see them, too.
Keeeerect! That would be Ojai Roy's '05. In fact, one of mine are on his. The other resides in a landfill somewhere around Carver's house.
I have almost 6k on this set. Outside of some screwy wear at the 2,500 mile mark en route from NAFO, they've been great. I'm guessing by the remaining tread that this set should go to 8k - maybe 9k. That would be a high watermark for me.
I really, really like these tires. :good:
