Cherie and I crossed a major milestone yesterday, and the GF was not even jealous. :)

August 17, 2008 and 50,000 miles on the big girl since Feb. 1, 2007.

As you can see, turning 50 has effected our vision. Sorry about the camera blur. Couldn't get the darn thing to focus that close. Some PhotoShop work made it better. I guess that's like cosmetic surgery for images.

Nice!

I think we should start a Forum wager on the number of tires that represents.

My guess is 14 sets.

Wow Jeff, I can't believe it already! Makes me feel like a real lightweight.

Many more Happy Miles and Smiles to ya.

Man, that's awesome. Man, I think 50k per year is the kind of mileage that your insurance company just never hears about, somehow...

At an average of 60 mph thats only 34.72 days of riding out of a total of 575 days of owning the bike....that doesn't sound like all that much riding to me.

Good lord Jeff, you are right behind me mileag-wise.

Congratz Jeff. I was feeling pretty good about managing to rack up 12k in my first year of FJR ownership, but I just realized I have a long way to go :)

Slacker.

Hey, BTW, did you calculate the cost of gas for the 50k? I did. I figger it's around $4,400. Ooh, and tires? Around $2,600.

Have a nice day!

Your friend,

:p

I believe that I do have all my tires in the database. I'll have to run that report and share.

Whatever the cost, it's still the cheapest *** fun I've ever had.

:)

And for those asking... Yes, I do have a full-time, all-the-time job (at least today I do!).

WOW! Totally jealous. Only have 2K on my 08 (in about a month)... I WISH I could find the time to ride more. Do you typically go on long rides - or just lots and lots of shorter ones?
