How to calibrate the TPS on a Power Commander V

For anyone trying to set / calibrate the Throttle Position Sensor or TPS for a Dynojet Power Commander V / 5, here's the method that I used: 1. Safely start your bike and allow it to idle up to it's operating temperature. 2. Connect your netbook, laptop or computer to your Power Commander...

Calibrating the TPS on a Power Commander V

seventyss - Thanks, glad to know I'm not crazy. I'll work on that tonight when I get home. I hope that solves the problem as the way it runs right now doesn't feel like much of an improvement. Out of curiosity what are your min. and max. voltage values? Queensland Ken - Unfortunately that menu...

Calibrating the TPS on a Power Commander V

And I'm primarily trying to get rid of the stuttering out of first gear into second as the bike still lurches as I roll on the throttle. Thanks for any related input!

Calibrating the TPS on a Power Commander V

I just got a Power Commander V the was set up to use on my 2007 by Fuel Moto. For the life of me I can 't set the TPS no matter how I try, engine off, bike on etc. as the instructions make it look so simple but when turning the throttle while the bike is off the meter doesn't move. Of course...

    Strange knocking sound

I did my searching too as I was hoping to find the answer in short order but I'm looking for some with my particular year and the identical problem. Thanks for the tip on +clunking and +sound, that yielded over a hundred results.

    Strange knocking sound

Since I'm the FNG and new to metric bikes in general I'm going to post what I hope isn't a rookie question. I did search and found nothing relevant. When hitting small pot holes and even when I rap on the front brakes quickly, there's a knocking / clunking sound that sounds like it's coming...

Gen II clutch slave conversion to GEN I *feedback requested*

I own a 2007 Feejer and quite frankly am not a fan of the extremely tight / firm / hard clutch pull that's required. I've heard of others simply switching to the GEN I slave but have also heard that it affects the lever position etc. For those of you who have actually done this conversion could...

Has anyone done a conversion to Projector HID's?

Got it, very nice set up. No finished pics though  How do you like the dual lenses? If you had to do it all over again how would you proceed? The make 3 different sized Bi-Xenons now. I wonder if all would fit.

Has anyone done a conversion to Projector HID's?

Oh yeah exactly like that, very nice. I'd like to see finished pics and before and after if you have them. Thanks!

Has anyone done a conversion to Projector HID's?

The projectors will give off a cleaner spread pattern and cutoff as opposed to the halogens which are tied to the reflector. I believe the HID's will offer a much pure light source but ultimately the projectors will have the cleanest look and function. I live in Hawaii where I'll hardly ever use...

Has anyone done a conversion to Projector HID's?

If so can you provide some feedback? If attempted but unsuccessful can you describe the challenges and problems? I would like to convert my headlights to HID's and preferably the projectors. Future Vision HID has several projector sizes listed in their section for motorcycles. Thank you for your...
