    Coonamble Amble

For those not used to a bit of "stroyn" (Australian) : Coonamble Amble - First get together of the New Year. And first 'official' meeting of many of the members of fjr13.org GOR = Great Ocean Road. Coastal road that winds it's way around the coastal cliffs of SW Victoria. Piss off = leave...

Suggestions for a response to Yamaha

I would read your finance agreement carefully. Pretty sure circumstances such as the one you described would be covered, in the favour of the finance company. :( If it was me, I would be looking for a further extension of warranty (a minimum of 6 weeks would stop me pounding on the...

To TOM HODLICK and Motions dealership

After my first response from Tom, I felt that a reciprocal reply was in order, so I sent him this: Bearing in mind that I didn't know that Dale etc were 'talking' with the dealer, I received this response to my email: Nice guy....good work from everyone (including the dealer).

    Sliders and Air Flow

Question for John: If it was perceived that the Motovation sliders did disturb the airflow, would that prevent you from putting them on? Personally.....I think you are getting lost in the detail. Put 'em on...ride. No airflow disturbance. Period. (I have a set)

    2007 Bag Liners

Well, junior...and others, this is the reply I have received from Tom: "Steve, Thank you for taking the time to write a gentlemanly response. I have cut and pasted the entire "Bag Liner" forum, from the beginning, and emailed it to my Inside Sales Reps at Yamaha for an explanation on how this...

    2007 Bag Liners

I got the same response from the stealer as well (FWIW) I agree, gunny and +1 on all the other comments about sending an email to Mother Yamaha with his diabolical excuse included. And +1 to CC him on that email. Glad you are getting what is rightfully yours. This is my response to Tom's...

    2007 Bag Liners

Ahhh...so it's better to not tell the truth, and be in denial of the facts, because that would mean that I am not a liar! Thankyou.

    2007 Bag Liners

"A friend of mine has purchased a FJR from you (new), and I have been informed that you have failed to include the bag liners (which is, I am led to believe, standard equipment for ALL FJR's sold in the USA). I know of many other FJR owners who have received their liners, with no issue, unlike...

    2007 Bag Liners

The fact that in Australia (like Canada) we don't get them at all (unless we go to flea-bay), means that you absolutley MUST take this stealer to the cleaners and tell all and sundry of his poor business ethics. Do it for us, PLEASE?

FJR Review in Super Bike Magazine

Journalists are **** heads. If you are going to do a comparison, you do not put a Lamborghini up against a Golf GTi. The AE should have been a 'wild card' in the comparison test. The real tester should have been a 'fully clutched' A model, so that it was the closest to the competition (in...

The little orange rubber thingy under the fuel cap?

It is actually a "use by" indicator. What it means is your bike is now past it's use by date, and you need to upgrade to the '08 version. Oh...and keep your medication up Thug....things will get better :clown2:
