That probably won't work for his 2003.

You need to first determine what brand of case you want. Yamaha, Shad, Givi, etc. They all require different mounting plates. And you als want to do a little homework on a beefed up rack to put the plate on. This will avoid having a cracked subframe due to stress of the extra weight bouncing...

I'll need a day to get them off the shelf, measure and weigh them. It's gonna be an odd shaped box. Finding/making a box that size is the tricky part.

That measurement won't be accurate as suspension sag/spring setting could be different on each bike.

I've got a very nice pair off of my '015 with less than 11K miles on them. I'd be looking for $200 but shipping them would probably cost that much also.

Seemed to dive in pretty early for a decreasing radius turn. And it looks like a blind turn with that high grass.

I also have a "toilet seat" if all else fails. I'd let it go very cheap.

You might want to do a little research using the search function. It's not recommended to put a mount and top case directly on the stock rack as there is a weak point in the subframe that could crack leading to a very time consuming and expensive repair. It's also helpful if you put your year...

Wasn't there ignition switch issues around that year? Have you checked that out?

Not trying to be a wise *** here but you're missing the point of what the app can do. Like sense that you've been in a crash and notify emergency services and/or your emergency contact with your location if you're laying unconscious in a ditch.

What is a crash protection app and what does it do for you? Never heard of it before. EDIT: Nevermind, Googled it. If you have an iPhone 14 or above it's built in.

Easy stuff first. Like Ross said, remove and clean the ABS sensors on each wheel. Spray them with something like ACF-50 to remove and prevent corrosion.
