I have the same ones. Good hearing aids! I didn't know you could get rechargeable batteries though. As for riding with them as others have said, hearings aids are way too loud. Trouble is, good hearings aids will never replace good ears.

I think I'll try to do a west coast trip next year. Your right on route to go visit my brother in Tofino. The last time I could get the time to do something like this was in 1993, so maybe...would be great to meet some of the FJR peeps from there and Big John.

Fortunately for me, my earbuds stay well inserted and I can ride all day with them, except for breaks. I find that just a slight moistening of the ear tips with the tongue makes insertion really easy, and seals the tip to the ear canal well. Lick em and stick em. Where have I heard that before...

My '08 does the same when cold. I just pull the clutch, rev lightly one or twice and snick it into first. Once fully warmed up - no problem.

Correction to my post above. The earbud jack is the same as the speaker jack. Unplug one, and plug the other in. The 3.5mm jack itself is on the end of a 5"-6" cable coming out of the rear battery pack. The jack can hang loosely outside the helmet, or as I do, have it tucked into the helmet...

Yes earbuds work on the Cardo. With the Packtalk Slim the earbud jack is on the rear battery pack and the jack is not exposed. I really don't alike adding road/wind noise to speakers. My hearing is not good, and the quality of sound is better through earbuds while the road/wind noise is abated...

Subscribed! I can't remember how times I worked on Norton internals. It's all too familiar. Of course my Commandos had concentric carbs, and I had two sets re-sleeved. What happened to that ring? That's quite unusual. I appears to be a badly made new ring.

3XL Scorpion modular won't fit.

The glovebox only has power when the engine is running. I doubt very much you could overcharge it. When it's charged, the charging led light goes out.
