Has anyone just replaced the cam on the throttle body with one from a 2012? I was thinking that the Yamaha engineers finally got it right in 2012.

Mine flashed when I used the turn signals etc. I fixed it by disconnecting the horn wire for the Kristas. I think the turn signals pulsed the ground or something. I haven't had time to check it out. But the problem went away and has not returned in the last six months.

I put some jack stands under the sliders to support front when I'm working on it. There is hardly any weight on the front end when you rock the bike back on the center stand.

You are going to have a harder time in PA since you won't be able to borrow my tools anymore!

I appreciate your response. But something tells me that a picture of what is actually done would make EC&Ms code violation column! As you and others in the business know you see the damnest things out there.
