    Pciii Accelerator Pump Function

Ya know, I think I got snit for calling you that over on the FZ1 board, too. :haha: I guess some people just never learn. Sorry about that. ((guess I better get back over to the other site with the snitty brits ;) )) ( Oh, and the other site works well on my PocketPC, so I can...

    Pciii Accelerator Pump Function

Cheers Yank. :D Do you still have the fizzy? This site's server speed IS phenominal, no question there! B) Ionbeam, by any chance are you using the 'pump feature' with Wally's map? :)

    R1 For Sport Touring

Ah yes... of course. I've been in there for the velocity stacks and running a lead for the GPS... but it seems like there'd be a little more fuel capacity displaced by the plastic. I miss my magnetic tank bag, too. It's one of the reasons I bought a Bagster outfit... and for...

    Pciii Accelerator Pump Function

... one more thing to 'not hold your breath for,' buddy. ;) I'm developing a difficulty in tolerating certain kinds of posts... and... let's just say, the worldwide site is getting bad enough. <_< I think one of the best bike sites on the planet is the FZ1 owners site. Sure...

    Pciii Accelerator Pump Function

Yes. I did considerable testing with it. Found nothing but excess fuel consumption. Will come in very handy if new full exhaust systems, more aggressive cams or ported heads become available. (not holding my breath) ((dang - I'm not a FNG anymore!)) :)

I'm Not An Expert, But Do You Agree With This.

The low end is bigger than any inline-4 I've ever ridden or heard of. The performance above 6000, and checking out at 8000 are where I would wish for more. A 1930 John Deere tractor could plow a field with 8 horsepower... but it's redline of around 500 was very disappointing when going down...

    R1 For Sport Touring

I do 400 - 600 miles of twisties at a time on mine with bone stock ergos. Just a mini-bag on the pillion seat. The arms and knees get used to it. The biggest pain is stopping every 130 miles for fuel. I still can't figure why Yamaha opted for the plastic piece on the front/top of the tank...

New Rider And Looking At Fjr

ummm, that's filtering/lane splitting... not 50 miles of stop 'n go. I guess Californians see things differently, eh? :haha: If I were stuck in 50 miles of stop and go traffic, a Magna might not be that bad. :detect: :)

New Rider And Looking At Fjr

Riding any bike in stop and go traffic isn't much fun, but I think the FJR is below average in this category. Best to you. :)

    Post Up, Biatches!!

Thanks RTSR1/FJR. But if I went to GP shift, I'd want it on every bike I have, and the WR450 MIGHT be a bit of a challenge.

"If you just wipe the collector area out with a paper towel or something absorbant and then spray it down with some brake cleaner, all is well then, no smoke. " I'll try that next time. I could've sworn I had it bone clean and dry after the change, but... "have you tried the old...

    The Sickness

The Cardinal avatar looks good from here, scoose! Has anybody besides me tried the Pit Bull "Forward Handle Rear" stand. I love mine! The handle is right with you as stand beside-left of the bike, and you push it forward, raising the bike that way. IMO, much easier to put on by myself...

    Post Up, Biatches!!

Yes, you're right... sorry, couldn't tell ya. I only had time to stick it on all at once. I was pretty happy with everything about it before I put the mods on, I could feel the dip at 7000, but if I was riding in anger, I didn't mind a touch more gentleness at roll-on, it still changed the...

    Post Up, Biatches!!

The gay reflectors are gone, now WC. (and right now, just about everything else that makes it street legal) The tailpack is perfect for that bike, if you're not doing your sickass IronButtin'. :D Seriously, it's from RKA, perfect size for just a couple of things, and will expand...

The Crap Just Won't Go Away.....

You guys HAVE to find a way to keep this going. It's better than The Sopranos by a long shot! :haha: :)

    Yamaha Windshield Nuts

Wellnuts are very common on modern motorcycles. Aftermarket ones are abundant as well. :dntknw: :)

    Cut The Crap

That was HILARIOUS! Now did you guys have access to that on the EZBoard? :haha: :)

    Etymotic In-ear-monitors

The fit takes a while to get used to. Wifey and I both use them through the Autocom, for talking, listening to tunes and taking phone calls. Great sound quality. The silicone gets uncomfortable to me after about 3 eight-hour days in a row... but I don't get to do that very often... I didn't...
