    TPMS Mounting

I have the trim tape. Might have a bit of the Dual Lock (or Scotch Lock), but would have to find it... Same unit is on eBay...

    TPMS Mounting

The RAM ball would fit the back of the head unit but I still have to secure it to the bike. The "Dual Lock" stuff I mentioned is like the "Velcro" product you linked. I just had another look and I think I can use double-sided trim tape (or Dual Lock) and attach it to a flat spot beside the LCD...

    An Excel Valve Clearance Spreadsheet

I thought that was the case - it certainly used to be. Seems to me Dropbox asks you to join and provide info, but you don't have to in order to download.

    TPMS Mounting

I bought a TPMS off Amazon. Inexpensive, waterproof and the handlebar mounted display provides pressures, temperatures and bike voltage. Also has a fast USB charge port for phones, power banks etc. on the side. Head unit hooks to the bike so no batteries. Sensors have replaceable batteries...

Maine - Fort Edgecomb and Pemaquid Point Lighthouse

I've been held up at the bridge at Wiscasset for as long as 20 minutes and another 10 minutes through town! I would have expected July 4 to be awful, although perhaps not as bad as a nice summer weekend. Lots of people stay home rather than hit the tourist roads for that holiday. I guess you...

    General Service Information PDF

OK, I know what you are talking about - I've never replaced them (or any of the other caliper bits either). As you said - quite expensive for what they are. I think I can edit in Libre Office...

Maine - Fort Edgecomb and Pemaquid Point Lighthouse

I have not been to Fort Edgecomb - will have to do that some time. I have been to Pemequid. Very picturesque. Problem with some of the Maine coastal destinations is tourist crowds - especially summer weekends. (Ever try Boothbay on a warm Sunday afternoon in July?) The whole Route 1 from...

    General Service Information PDF

Nicely done. I will take this and modify for my Gen II (different plugs) and my preferences for lubricants, filters, and (EBC) brake pads. Great to have all in one place instead of digging through the shop manual for a torque value! I agree with your comment about oil drain plug torque - I...

Parts For Sale GONE: Moving - Must Empty Garage! Parting with spare 2006-2015 engine, brakes, and other parts

I have 100,000 miles on my 2011 and it probably isn't good for much more than another 100,000. With a spare low mileage engine, the bike would outlast my remaining riding days! If it wouldn't cost a fortune to crate and ship, I would be thinking seriously (not to mention the logistics of...

    Greetings all

Warm & Safe, Gerbings or Tourmaster. Jacket liner far more effective than vest IMHO - sleeve coverage makes a big difference. I figure my heated gear extends my riding season a couple weeks on either end and can make an enjoyable day out of one that has you on the edge of hypothermia. I also...

    Greetings all

The heated grips are a treat - I see you already responded to the ones for sale on the forum (I was going to point them out). I think that a heated jacket liner (not just a vest) is far better bang-for-the-buck than a heated seat when it comes to cold weather riding. For the throttle, look...

    are you a moto camper?

I use ROK-straps. The non-elastic side attaches to the upper part of the "arm" of my Givi rack and the elastic side attaches to the lower part of the arm. I put the duffel in place and pull the back strap over the top and stretch the lower part up to the buckle. Trick is to get the right...

    Voltage Regulator Mounting

Keep an eye on the cable ties. The R/R gets pretty warm and even if they don't melt, they could become brittle or chafe through. You can get stainless cable ties or maybe use stainless wire. (need something that won't corrode)

The bag and your suit even match the bike! This is mine - with the dry duffel bag...

    are you a moto camper?

Quite a few people do. I manage anywhere between 5 and 25 days per year. In terms of equipment etc., depends on the object (cheap accommodations vs going mainly for the camping). This will affect everything. Personally, it depends on the trip for me. If it is on a longer trip where camping...

    Voltage Regulator Mounting

I think it bolts through? I haven't actually had mine off so I couldn't tell you for sure. I'll have a look at some old posts. This photo was taken by @dcarver . I KNOW he has had his off~!! Look here (this should help). https://candybuttorg.ipage.com/cba/node/520 I'm sure someone who...

This is from the right side of the bike. The silver thing is the cover for the R/R. My shock in front of it is covered with a Shock Sock... Let me know if you need more photos...
