The Really, Definitely Completely Un-Authorized TBS

Thanks for the info, I will try to do this as soon as my manometer arrives. I will also replace the spark plugs when I get in there. Do car engines require this too? if not, why not? Thanks.

    Ticking sound after downshifting

I just rode without earplugs and helmet, and actually it seems like the popping from exhaust. Is there supposed to be a compound between the joint in the exhaust system in front of canisters? I see the clamp that attaches the pipe to the canisters right by the center-stand.

    Ticking sound after downshifting

When I downshift and let off the clutch, I hear this ticking sound, and it ticks as the rpms wind down to 3000 rpm range. It sounds almost like you are snapping a rubber band to an empty coke can, or shaking an empty coke can with a ball bearing in it... Is this normal? Do you guys notice...

    2008 v 2009 - What should I buy?

I would get the '08, and use the 800 bucks to get the frame sliders, cramp buster, and a givi e250. For the same amount you would end up with all basic and most common add ons. Looks surely matter too. S.

Except for an electronic cruise control, don't see much that can be improved, maybe a larger windshield... I am curious to see what the next gen will be.

    Gloss black Givi e52 on a 2008

Stupid question but i have to ask, How does the givi attach to the bike? Do i have to buy two adapters? one aluminum that goes over the fjr rear, and one that clamps to the case and bolted to the aluminum plate? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance. S.

    need electrical help.

Great suggestions. Thanks a lot. I think i will go with the accessory plug or the horn fuse. I usually leave it on the bike for extended durations, so I prefer it to be off when the bike is turned off. Thanks again.

    need electrical help.

I recently upgraded the stem nut with the RAM ball, and happily mounted my Zumo 550. The only problem I am having is finding a switched outlet to plug in the device. In my old bike, 07 M50L, i found an empty socket in the headlight housing (probably placed for an additional light bar) which was...
