I am sure some people will take advantage of that .. I also have a carb. tune and love it. I have always wished that some of the FJR rally's would have a tech. session. I know I would like to learn more about my bike and I am sure there are a lot more like me. Mac

    NAFO gps question

Upon inputing the address of the Marriott hotel in my gps , a 276C, it would only accept 500 Hill Ave. E. and the info I have received gives the address as SE. Does anyone know if this is a problem or is that the correct address. Thanks Mac

    Power plug

Thats what I use it for. There is a small hole in the bottom of the box with a rubber gromet in it that you can run your cord thru so you do not have to leave the latch open. Mac

Will My Tires Make It To NAFO & Beyond....

I usually use 9K as my limit I am willing to put on a tire. If I am going to take a trip and I am going to exceed 9K , I will change to new rubber before I leave. If I can get home under 9K I go for it. Made it home everytime so far. But keep in mind if you are in heavy rain, slow down when...

Getting the tire bead to reseat.

+1 on bouncing the tire. You can see where the tire is not seated on the rim, bounce that area a few times on the floor, hard if need be and the bead will seat. Mac

    GPS Options

I have a 276C that I have used on 3 different bikes , well over 100K miles, and have ridden in a lot of nasty nasty weather and never have had a problem with it getting wet . I use the ram ball mount and on the FJR have one mounted to the stem nut. Mac
