    Givi Light Bar Replacement

Just noticed my break light strip not working. I am uncertain if it is the bulbs or if it is excessive warn contacts. I guess the proper way to make such determination is w/an ohm meter placed at the last contact point??? Cant remember which model I have........

    Fork rebuild

I would like to do this to my bike, it has original fork oil still in it w/28k miles. I have bought new fork oil to flush and replace, but never having done such a thing it looks a bit complicated. I have printed out the directions from fjrtech and every time I get the urge, I then sit and read...

    We Lost A Great Friend

WOW! :o World's a little smaller now. World's a little meaner now. World's a little less fun now. It was good to have met Tim at NAFO and to have shook his hand. At NAFO, it was Tim who announced the losses of our friends over the last year, and his thoughtful and gentle words for us to...

    Natchez Trace in September

Tim......... I live just a couple miles off the Trace, just outside a small town by the name of Raymond. If you have a map, you should be able to reference where I'm talking about. Anyway, though it appears from your post you plan to spend maybe 2 days on the Trace, I have no idea of what...

    Dropped this top-heavy PITA today

That is exactly how I learned not to be sitting on the bike when you open the tank......it only takes once to learn that valuable lesson. The geyser covered me and the bike. I was doing the chicken dance and praying no one lit a cig...I could have charged admission to that show.

    Possible Vstream Defect??

I've been putting some more thought into this............................... You know I had a fuel/gastank pressure issue while on that NAFO trip. It was an apparent vent clog or something, anyway....when I stopped in Cheyenne WY and opened the tank, gas spewed out and covered me and the...

    Possible Vstream Defect??

Here are the best 2 pics I could put together. I have not taken the bracket off to inspect yet, but will soon. I have the tupperware off at the moment replacing the rt & lf marker/turn signals. So it aint going anywhere. I'm just hoping it's not a dangerous situation and I hate it happened...

    Possible Vstream Defect??

I bought Andrew Knight's old vstream shield, and I like it very much, it's a barn door of a shield, but it works best for me w/respect to buffeting, etc. I have rode with this shield since I put it on the bike. I noticed something while on my NAFO trip and was wondering if anyone else has a...

The Cooker has it's first illness...

Elp, I'm soaking up all these rays. I have 28k on my 04 now after my return from NAFO and there seems to be some cam chain rattling going on from time to time, more noticable at certain times. So, the bike is parked now, I'm not riding much after my return from NAFO as it's time for valve...
