Assuming this is the spanner wrench (Yamaha YU-33975) right? If so, I'll take it!

    WTB - Gen1 wheels

Thanks everyone for the replys and PM's. Shipping is pretty much a killer to most deals. I think I'm going to go with the rear I found on eBay and I'm working out details for a front from 101stpathfinder.

    WTB - Gen1 wheels

Hi all, I'm posting here hoping someone who has upgraded Gen's is looking to clear out their garage.... I'd like to pick up a second set of wheels (Gen 1 non-abs). I found a set on eBay, but wanted to check here first before pulling the trigger there. Thanks! Steve

LEDRider LED Floods and Spots - FJR Forum discount

FYI for anyone considering adding some lighting -- Justin posted some short-term discounts on LX3's, LX5's, and LX40's to Facebook. Search "LEDRider" on Facebook. The discounts are better than the normal FJR code, but only last until this Friday... I'm specifically not copy-and-pasting the...

What Do You Know About Residential Solar Power?

Dave, you are correct - nothing is free. Even though I "don't pay an electric bill", I did outlay a large sum of money for the system. In my mind a solar system is an investment choice just like a stock or mutual fund; albeit with a different set of risks / return-on-investment parameters...

What Do You Know About Residential Solar Power?

I have a 18.56kW ground-mount system I paid for upfront. Two 28 panel arrays each tied to two main inverters. No batteries. Payback is about 12-14 years after the tax credits. My panels have a 25yr power warranty (warranted 80% output after 25 yrs).. Like Gary, I figure the money spent...

*SOLD* Clearwater Glendas for sale $199

Second in line if Paul drops out Sorry, scratch that, I'm out. I got excited and got mixed up with Darlas vs. Glendas. I was hoping for a deal on Darlas. (and yes, I'm aware of the sale on Darlas right now from Clearwater themselves.).

    Gen 1 Aux Tank install

Just a couple quick pictures then I promise to quit flaming my own thread. Finally got around to taking a "naked" picture. I've loaded some other interesting photos of the piece-parts to the photobucket album too. ]

    Gen 1 Aux Tank install

Just a quick photo of the tank to seat mounting for those interested. You can also see how I ran the hose through a grommet I installed in upper right corner of the photo. You can checkout the full album on here.

    Gen 1 Aux Tank install

Tank is gravity fed. 5/16" tubing. I placed it a little higher than I needed to hoping to capitalize on the extra head pressure. So far it seems to work great. It takes ~5min per bar to drain from aux to main. Thanks. My '05 is just crossing 50k so she's got a lot of life left in her...

    Gen 1 Aux Tank install

The vents were added by the shield's previous owner. The sheild is a CeeBailey's ~20" tall / +2 screen. I believe the vents are from a Goldwing (?) Can't really tell if they do much - haven't noticed any major differences between this shield and my old one without them.

    Gen 1 Aux Tank install

Actual tank capacity is ~4.7gal. I was able to squeeze 4.5gal. in at the last fillup and that was up to the filler neck (which doesn't extend far down into the tank). The tank is mounted to the seat. Unfortunately I wasn't taking photos until after I had recovered the seat. The basic support...

    Gen 1 Aux Tank install

I realize Gen1 info is getting kind of "old" anymore, but since there are still a number of us out there I thought I'd share my recent aux tank install. I wanted to mount it to the rear seat for easy on-off swapping. I couldn't find any similar posts / photos online anywhere when I was...

An Update Fuel Cell In the Works! Parts Sourcing For Now....

Just finished my aux cell install with the plastic CPC QD's and they leaked right from the start. I have the metal version coming to replace them from Beemer Boneyard like Mr_Canoehead. I looked at the Jiffy Tite, but got worried about internal flow restrictions because they seem to be used...

Fine, I'm an *****. Where do these connectors go?

First one (white one) is from the PAIR solenoid. Looks like Wynpro plates are installed so that one truly isn't needed. Second one looks like it's outside the engine compartment in the fairing, possibly the glovebox solenoid.

    Off.

I'm tempted.... Anybody with more RDL experience want to chime in with how this seat might fit a 6'-3", 210 lb rider?

    Void Rally 11, Voidopoly

Yup... god damn two-sided Highway marker. Cost me the PEND bonus and the Combo, thankfully no houses/hotels were in the lurch.

    Void Rally 11, Voidopoly

I'd like to know the answer to your scoring question too Chuck... I did ride my entire planned route, but the rain did make me get sloppy. I didn't read the rally book in the pouring rain at my last bonus and it caused me to leave 390 points on the table. Only 320pts separated me (3rd) from...
