Kman, he is riding a gen1, we don't have a seat height adjustment. I used the lowering links, lowered the front as well and installed a hyperpro shock to compensate for the stock shock. john

Had the same problem, two winds of electrical tape, add the glue and it fits solid. Why the slight clearance I do not know but the tape is a quick solution. What's more, you'll love the grips and lack of vibration.
