Why not make the extension from the body work...seems much easyer or am I missing something..1"-1.5" should be very easy to do.

Besides guaranteeing new sales of helmets I see no reason to get a new shell..insides yes. So you ride every day..life is lets say 3 years ride only on weekends and helmet isn't exposed to UV rays ...sounds like cover thy ...symilar to racing seatbelts...O god what about my car belts!!!

Why not this one...its good enough for running the Baja 1000 can we say bulit proof :rolleyes: GPS just a little larger but the depth...4" now that might be a problem. Mount..custom would be needed. Good thing is it could be used for any off road use you may need a gps for...4x4's quads etc.

I'd second the ride one first... then add a PIII, mod the air box and add a exhaust system it will make the FJR wakeup!

Call me a cynic but could you program the device to play the notes no mater what key was hit..

Yep 108 is a great ride..we live in Wellington and are lucky to be only about 30 min from 108 and 395. If you like 108 you have to try 4.. Also for a great place to eat stop at the corner of 395 and 208.. Roadhouse..fantastic food and very resonable. cary

highly subjective ........... not at all it either does or doesn't and can be minimal and with syncs and mods go almost away as it has for some or can be very bad that no amount of syncs or mods will make go away..from personal experence...and yes I didn't follow rule #1 :banghead:

Watch out for the thunder storms...hopefully will be gone by Fri. They have been a B**** Heavy rain, seen guys pulling over it's been so hard.

My 06 has had it since new and I have repeatedly done everything mods, syncs, authorized and unauthorized it ..makes no difference. I have come to the realization the some will buzz and some won't. I have seen 2 other FJR's that basically don't buzz. Only remedy for me is a McCruise
