Some have vibs some don't and if your lucky like me nothing will get rid of them.

Went for a 2 up ride with the new settings..much better :yahoo: but did nothing to help the vibs :angry2: I am just one of the lucky ones that has a very bad case of buzz! And nothing has helped.

Wish Staintune had something like this, the stock silencers they provide work but rattle. Cary

When someone makes one that can take water and vibration, has at least a 5" screen and can use off road maps and tracking abilities so I can also use it in my early Bronco and the quad I'll buy it!

I'm looking at renting one in Reno for the day and drive around Lake Tahoe...little bit of all road conditions. Need to have a smother and more comfortable bike for 2 up. FYI you should check out ebay, their is a dealer back east selling them with all the options for under $19k! Cary

Yes I understand that..had a 73 Z1 in the day. What I don't get is why some do it at low rpm and others at high rpm and is their a way to adjust something else to move the vibs up the rpm range? I haven't done a dyno tune, maybe that could help? I'm just running Dale's settings which runs great...

The frequency of the vibration in worse in the 2800-3500 rpm range..I spend most of my riding in the 3k-3.5 k range. 4k and higher it gets "better" as the frequency increases and isn't as numbing, it then gets more buzzy at the seat and pegs. If the right hand grip would just buzz like the left...

I have done it all...2-3 times! Retouque the engine bolts, PCIII maps, Carb sync etc and still have vibs. I have never rode a different FJR to know if this is as good as it can get of if something is still out of wack or I just have a bad vib one. Anyone neer my area so I could compair. I...

I have Holeshots with Staintune's and with the baffle installed its very loud without its way to loud! Cary

I have Dougs map and have his headers and Staintune mufflers...with the baffles..still louder than I like. I haven't had a chance to ride much since I made all the changes but the little I have seems very strong all across the rpm range, very noticable low and mid rpm :yahoo: Cary

I have Dale's headers and Standtunes with Dale's map. Stock air filter. I live at 5k' so far so good. I don't think you can get rid of the poping...something to do with the design...read it awhile back??? Cary
